The ingredients for chocolately granola bars are:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
toast in the oven for 10-12 minutes stirring from time to time. make sure not to over-toast. use coconut as a guide. Set aside.
Reduce oven to 300 degrees

2 cups of "Brain Food" trail mix. 1/2 cup chocolate chips. set aside

Combine in a saucepan over medium heat:
1/2 cup honey, maple or agave syrup.
3 tbsp coconut oil
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tsp vanilla or vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
Heat until sugar dissolves

Combine oat mixture & trail mix in large bowl. Add in warm liquid mixture. Stir to combine. Add chocolate chips. Stir to combing. Chocolate chips will melt coating the granola mixture in chocolate.

Spoon the mixture into a parchment lined baking dish. I use a 9x13. Spread the mixture by placing another piece of parchment on top and press down with your hands to spread the granola evenly.

Bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the pan. This will take several hours. Cut into bars. Store in airtight container or zip-top bag
