Here is how you make Alicia's Granola:

Mix oats and nuts, and salt on a baking sheet. Mix.Stick baking sheet in oven for 10 minutes to warm up oats.Remove oats, and drizzle 1/4 cup honey over oats (dip measuring cup in water, discard water, and put honey in so it doesn't stick)Mix oats+honey and put back in oven for 15 minutes.Stir in panBake for 15 more minutesTake out, and add flax and cinnamon (if you want to add any dried fruit, do it now). Cool completely before storing in an airtight container or granola will not crisp.*watch the oats closely if your oven doesn't heat up properly, my oven heats up too hot, so the oats almost burned.
