3 tbsp. vanilla

1/3-1/2 cup dried chopped cherries

Here is how you make Nut-Free Chewy Granola Bars:

Makes 16 bars Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Toast oats and sunflower seeds for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.In the meantime, prepare an oblong glass baking dish (11 x 13) and line with parchment paper that has been sprayed with non-stick spray.In large saucepan, stir together brown sugar, honey, agave, vanilla, marshmallows and salt over medium heat until blended smoothly. When grains and seeds are done, add those plus the rice cereal and dried fruit to the pot and continue to stir over very low heat until the entire mixture is thoroughly blended.Pour mixture onto parchment paper in baking dish. Top with another sheet of parchment paper and press firmly until mixture is completely condensed. It should be very firm to the touch.Let cool for 2-3 hours.
