Recipe?The ingredients for Finally---A HEALTHY Granola! are: 1 small canister oatmeal, quick cook or old fashioned (13 serving size)1 Cup pecans (I use halves) 1 Cup walnuts 2 oz. bag slivered almonds 12 oz. bottle REAL maple syrup 2 Tablespoons each: wheat germ (I use kretchmers) and ground flax seeds How Do I Make Finally---A HEALTHY Granola!?Here is how you make Finally---A HEALTHY Granola!: Preheat oven to 350* and coat a large rimmed cookie sheet well with non-stick spray. Mix oats, nuts together in large bowl. Sprinkle wheat germ and flax seeds over top of mixture. Pour maple syrup in thirds, stirring after each time it is added (this helps the flax and wheat germ adhere to oatmeal!Pour into and gently press into single, even layer in the cookie sheet. Optional: sprinkle lightly with salt and put into warm oven. After 15 minutes, take cereal out and turn with large spatula to allow even browning. Sprinkle with salt again. Return cereal to the oven, close door and turn off the heat. Allow cereal to cook as oven cools, at least 20-30 minutes before removing (I allow a couple hours).
