What Are The Ingredients For No Cook Granola Bars Recipe? The ingredients for No Cook Granola Bars are: 1/2 cup honey1/3 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 cup crunchy peanut butter 1/4 cup unsalted butter 1/4 cup flax seed 4 cups Quick oats (not rolled) 2 cups crispy rice cereal 3 tsp vanilla 1 cup raisins 1/2 cup dried cranberries pumpkin seeds (shelled) sunflower seeds (shelled) How Do I Make No Cook Granola Bars? Here is how you make No Cook Granola Bars: In large bowl, stir together rice cereal, quick oats and flax. In medium saucepan, combine honey, butter, peanut butter and brown sugar. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat then bring the temp down to low and simmer till sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Pour in vanilla and stir.Pour the hot mixture over dry ingredients. Still until all ingredients moistened. Add any additions (in this recipe I used raisins, cranberries and both types of seeds). Press into a parchment-lined jell roll pan OR a 13x9 actually works perfectly, and you don't have to press mixture into one side.Pack the granola bar mixture as closely and as tightly together as you possibly can into about 1/2"-3/4" thickness. Any thinner and bar will not hold together. Let cool on the counter till they reach room temp. Cut into bars (I did 4x8 for a total of 32 bars). Can either wrap in plastic and store in ziploc or I put in individual snack bags for my kiddos to grab and go.
