Here is how you make Homemade, No Sugar Added, Applesauce:

1. Peel and core all apples, reserving the peels and cores2. Slice the apples into chunks as you are peeling / coring them, add to large pot3. If you have a juicer, take all of the peels and cores and put them through the juicer. This should produce about a cup of liquid. Add juice to apples.4. If you do not have a juicer, add 1/2 cup of water to the apples. 5. This may not seem like enough liquid but it is! The apples will release their juices while cooking.6. Cook apples on medium-low heat for about 1/2 an hour or until soft.7. Add cinammon8. Once apples are soft, use an immersion blender to make the texture as smooth as you'd like it. I usually leave quite a few chunks in the applesauce. Eat it warm or cold. For a special treat, I'll eat it warm over low fat vanilla ice cream!
