In another bowl mix together the milk, egg, vanilla and canola oil. Add liquid ingredients and mashed bananas to dry ingredients and stir until almost all dry ingredients are moistened. Add nuts and grated apple stirring only until all ingredients moistened. DO NOT over mix. Spoon batter into muffin pan sprayed with Pam.
