Here is how you make Blueban Bran muffins:

In medium bowl, mix buttermilk with wheat bran and oatmeal. Let sit for 15 minutes to soften. If blueberries are frozen, defrost in the microwave for 2 minutes. Meanwhile, in another bowl mix egg, sugar, oil,vanilla and mashed banana. When your 15 minutes are up, start your oven (400 degrees), add oatmeal and bran mixture to egg mixture. Stir in four, baking soda baking powder, and nuts. Gently fold in blueberries. Spoon approximately 1/4 cup into muffin cups. Bake for 20 minutes or until tops are lightly browned.
