Soak cereal in buttermilk. Beat eggs and mix with oil. Sift whole wheat flours, Splenda, baking soda, and salt. Add wheat bran to this dry mixture and mix well. Add eggs and oil to raisin bran and buttermilk mixture. Add dry ingredients to moist mixture. Mix well. Add applesauce and nuts. Mix well.Fill paper baking cups 3/4 full.
