What Are The Ingredients For YUMmy Apple Cake (or Muffins) Recipe?The ingredients for YUMmy Apple Cake (or Muffins) are: 4 medium tart apples - chop coarsely for muffins, slice thin for cake10 packets Splenda 2 tsp cinnamon 2 cups flour 1 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 1 egg 1/2 cup yogurt (I used 3% for the nutritional info) 1/2 cup applesauce 1/4 cup oil 2 tsp vanilla 1/3 cup nonfat milk (optional) How Do I Make YUMmy Apple Cake (or Muffins)?Here is how you make YUMmy Apple Cake (or Muffins): Mix the apple pieces with the splenda and 1 tsp of the cinnamon. If you are making the cake, spread the slices evenly along the bottom of a greased 9x13 pan. If you are making muffins, add the rest of the dry ingredients to to apples.Mix the egg, yogurt, applesauce, oil and vanilla in a seperate bowl till well blended. Add gently to the dry ingredients, being careful not to overmix. FOR MUFFINS: Fill muffin pans almost to the very top (like 7/8s full); I got 16 muffins out of this batter. The batter is thick but works fine for muffins - add the milk if you like. (It only adds a few calories) Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. FOR CAKE: If you are making the cake, DO add the milk, carefully, and spread evenly over the apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar or skor toffee bits, if you like (not included in the nutritional info).
