Here is how you make Hearty Carrot Muffins:

Line a 12-cup muffin pan with 12 jumbo paper muffin cups. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a large bowl, beat the milk, syrup, egg whites and oil until smooth. Stir in apples and carrot. In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Stir into the milk mixture just until moistened.Fill muffin cups two-thirds full. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 18-20 minutes.
