Here is how you make Amish Cinnamon Muffins:

Cream together applesauce, sugar, and eggs. Add buttermilk. Sift the flours, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl. Add to the butter and milk mixture until combined. Add half the batter to your muffin cups. Divide the half of the cinnamon and sugar mixture between the cups, and then add the remaining batter. Sprinkle the top with the remaining sugar and cinnamon mixture. Swirl the batter with a knife.Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.Serving Size:?Makes 12 muffins
