1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup oil, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 tsp. vinegar, 3/4 tsp. baking soda, 1 1/2 cup flour (or 3/4 cup plain and 3/4 cup whole wheat), 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1 cup crushed cereal, 1/2 cup raisons.

Here is how you make Homemade Cereal muffins:

Makes about 15 muffins. Measure out milk and add vinegar and baking soda to milk (to make it buttermilk). Set aside for about 5 min. Mix sugars, oil, and eggs. Add in milk mixture. Add flour, salt and oatmeal. Crush cereal in a plastic reclosable bag, using a rolling pin. Add crushed cereal and raisons. You may also add nuts, chocolate chips or anything else that you wish to throw in. You may use any type of cereal. I used half whole wheat flour, but you can use regular flour too. (Note if you change ingredients, your calorie and nutrient numbers will change too). Pour mixture into muffin tins or paper muffin cups and bake 20-25 min. at 350.
