Pour into a bowl. Put the dates and cherries in the food processor and processor until finely chopped. You may need to open the food processor and separate it if it forms a ball. Add the nuts, flax seed and almond extract t the food processor with the fruits. Process until well combined and finely chopped. Line a bread or bar pan with plastic wrap. Press the fruit/nut mixture firmly into the pan and wrap the plastic wrap over the top of it. Place in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours. Cut into 6 equal bars and individually wrap.
