Here is how you make St John's Patties:

Preheat oven to 350? Line baking sheets with parchment or silpat Mix oil, honey, molasses and carob. Add spices, nuts and fruit. Add flour. Dough should be very hard to mix, you'll probably need to use your hands to combine thoroughly. Should still stick together. Form 12 equal sized balls and space several inches apart on lined baking sheet. Press balls to flatten to about 1/2 inch thick, 3 inches around. Bake for 12 minutes, or until surface is no longer shiny. It will still seem gooey, but they will harden when cooled.
