Here is how you make Peanut Brittle:

Put sugar in boiler, add salt, syrup, and hot water. Turn heat on. Cook, stirring constantly until it spins a thread. Add peanuts. Continue to cook, stirring until liquid and peanuts begin to turn brown. Remove from heat, add soda and beat with a wooden spoon. Pour small amount into 6 greased pie pan. Cool thoroughly.
