Here is how you make Gingered Pecans:

On baking sheet, toast pecans in 350 F oven, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes or until fragrant. Remove from oven.Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine sugar, salt and ginger; set aside.In a large saucepan, bring water, jam and oil to a boil; reduce heat to medium-low. Add pecans; stir to coat. Cook, stirring, for about 3 minutes or until almost no liquid remains.Transfer pecans to sugar mixture; toss until well coated. Spread on parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Return to oven and cook, stirring occasionally, for another 10 minutes or until pecans are no longer soft.
