How Do I Make Stepf's Homemade Energy Bars--Pecan Pie Flavor?

Here is how you make Stepf's Homemade Energy Bars--Pecan Pie Flavor:

Place almonds in food processor and pulse several times until roughly chopped. Add pecans and continue to pulse until nuts are finely chopped. Remove and place in medium bowl. Place dates in food processor (no need to wash it after the nuts) and pulse several times. Once dates are chopped, allow to process until dates form a large ball. Remove from processor and place in bowl with nuts. Use your hands or a sturdy wooden spoon to mix the nuts into the dates. Divide mixture in half, then in half again in the bowl. Divide the quarters into three bars each. (This method sounds confusing, but it ensures even-sized bars. It should make 12 bars.) Roll the bars between your hands and then wrap each one in plastic wrap. Refrigerate up to one week. Your hands will be sticky, so it helps to have the plastic wrap spread out ahead of time or to have someone there to help you wrap them. Enjoy as a snack any time of day.
