½ English (seedless) Cucumber
1.5 Tsp. Salt
2.5 Tsp. Garlic Powder
1 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 Tsp. Red Wine Vinegar
1/4 Tsp. Dill Weed


How Do I Make Tzatziki Sauce?

Here is how you make Tzatziki Sauce:

Use cheesecloth over a mixing bowl or container and let excess liquid drain from yogurt. While yogurt drains, use a cheese grater to grate the cucumber – make sure that you have anywhere between 3/4 to 1 cup of cucumber shavings.Drain the excess liquid and put yogurt into mixing bowl. Next, use cheesecloth (or just use your hand) to drain excess liquid from cucumber shavings. In a small bowl, toss cucumber with 1 tsp of salt.Add cucumber, olive oil, garlic powder, dill weed, and red wine vinegar to yogurt. Mix thoroughly and add the other ½ tsp of salt to the mixture.
