1 tbsp of sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
75gms butter
1 - 11/2 cups Calcitrim milk (approx)

How Do I Make Date Scones?

Here is how you make Date Scones:

1) Sift flour, baking powder & salt into a bowl. Add 3/4 cup chopped dates, 1 tbsp of sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon to the flour.2) Cut butter in until it resembles fine breadcrumbs.3) Add milk and mix quickly into a soft doug.Gently knead a few times.4) Lightly dust an over tray with flour. Press scone dough onto this.5) Cut into 12 pieces dipping knife into some flour as you go OR use a circular scone cutter.6) Leave a 2cm space between scones.
