2 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (more if desired)

Here is how you make Snickerdoodles:

1. Preheat oven to 400? F (200? C)2. Cream together butter, shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugars, egg beaters and vanilla extract. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Shape dough by rounded spoonfuls into balls* I use a very tiny ice cream scoop with button for releasing the ice cream/cookie dough*.3. Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon in a flat pan or plate. Roll balls of dough in mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until set but not too hard.
