2 Whole Wheat Pitas
1 serving of Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage patties (or similar brand)
2. tsp. Tomato Paste
1/2 cup Tomato/Spaghetti Sauce
1/2 cup Kraft 2% Shredded Italian Cheese
3/4-1 cup fresh sliced mushrooms
1/2 medium Bell Pepper

Optional: Minced garlic, italian seasoning, etc.

Makes 2 PizzasPreheat oven to 400(if you have to store your pita bread in the freezer like i do, you can "thaw" the pita bread on a cookie sheet at the "warm" setting of your oven about 5-10 minutes first before turning it to 400. It works very well.)In a small bowl, combine tomato paste and tomato sauce and mix them together at the consistency you desire (may require more or less sauce as you choose). Add in other seasonings of your choosing, such as garlic, italian seasoning, crushed red pepper, etc. Stir well.Rince off and slice mushrooms and set aside. Chop bell pepper half into pieces, then chop turkey sausage into smaller pieces and set aside.Turn pita bread upside down on a cookie sheet (this will hold the ingredients in easier). spread tomato mixture onto the pita bread as much as you want. take the mushroom slices and lay them on the sauce, covering the pizza.Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the mushrooms. place bell peppers and turkey sausage evenly over the pizza surface.Place cookie sheet with pizzas on the top rack of your oven for 12-15 minutes. To get it slightly crispier, you may want to broil for 2-3 minutes MAX (any more than that and the bread will start blackening but the ingredients won't)Note: The nutrition information is slightly inflated due to unknown modifications you may choose to make, such as to lower-fat cheeses or less sauce or dousing with garlic.
