In a teacup stir together raisins, dates and vanilla. Allow to soak, stirring occassionally for 10 minutes.Combine in a mixing bowl the milk, salt, baking powder, cereal, vegetable oil and wheat flour. Add eggs and beat hard for 1 minute. Add raisins & dates & vanilla; beat. Add chocolate chips.Spoon into muffin pans and bake 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Do not overbake.
