1/2 red onion chopped ( 50 g)
1/2 cup ( 60 g ) frozen peas
1/4 cup red lentils
5 1/2 cups of Water
1/2 tsp salt
freshly ground black pepper

Place 2 frozen chicken breasts in the oven at 350 F to bake while you prepare the soup ( Fresh can be used too)In the meanwhile heat up 5 cups of water together with chicken broth and add, carrots and onion as you slice and chop them. Then add tinned corn, and frozen peas.Add rinsed red lentils.lastly add canned pumpkin and cook till nice and thick. cover and keep heated on low until chicken is cooked .cube cooked chicken breasts and add to soup.Season with 1/2 tsp salt and dash of freshly ground black pepper.serve in brightly coloured teacups as a special starter. 1 serving = 1/2 cup soup.
