3-4 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw
2 chopped Onions, raw
large handful of green beans
3/4 c. broccoli
1 c. cabbage
4 cloves minced garlic


How Do I Make Homemade Chicken and Vegetable soup?

Here is how you make Homemade Chicken and Vegetable soup:

Bring to boil: whole chicken with 3 ribs celery, 3 medium carrots, 2 medium onions, quartered. Along with 2 bat leaves, 1/2 tsp dried rosemary, 1/2 tsp dries thyme, 10 whole peppercorns and 2 quarts cold water. Cover and simmer 2 hours, (or more). When chicken is cool enough to handle, remove meat from bones. Strain broth. refrigerate if not used immediately. To the broth add chicken removed from bones, 1 chopped yellow onion, 2 ribs of celery, 1 handful of spinach, 4 cloves of minced garlic, large handful of green beans, 1 cup cabbage,3/4 c broccoli and 1 tsp each of parsley, basil, thyme and sage.
