1 can cooked Black Beans (drain a little of the juices away)
1 8oz can Tomato Sauce
4 cups Chicken Broth
2 cups frozen Corn
1 cups chopped Onion (large pieces)
1 cups cubbed Tomato
1 tbsp Butter, Margerine, or other Spread
1 package of Taco Seasoning
2 large handfuls of Tortilla Chips

How Do I Make Mexican Chicken Tortilla Soup?

Here is how you make Mexican Chicken Tortilla Soup:

First, cut raw chicken breasts into small bite size strips. Put raw chicken into skillit and cook with a little bit of the taco seasoning. Make sure the chicken is fully cooked, then set aside.Now, sautee the chopped Onions in the butter. Then set aside.Now in a large pot add the Chili Hot Beans, Black Beans, Tomato Sauce, and Chicken Broth. Mix the ingredients well and bring to boil. Once boiling add the seasoned Chicken, onions, tomotoes, Corn, and the rest of the package of Taco seasoning. Coninues to boil until all the ingredients are hot. (If the soup is too thin for you, add cold water mixed with corn starch to thicken, a quarter cup should be enough. The corn starch is not in the nutrition.)Remove from heat and put in two large handfuls of Tortilla Chips and stir them in. When the soup is cool enough to eat you can serve.I like to add a few crunchy Tortilla chips, cheddar cheese, and a dollop of sour cream.
