Here is how you make Momma's Chicken and Wild Rice Soup:

Saute chicken breast in olive oil, add chopped onion, chopped garlic and Italian herb seasoning... and saute. Cut up cooked chicken in small bite-size pieces. Cut up 2 small red bliss potatoes in small bite size pieces (do not pre-cook).Combine all ingredients excluding the rice in a pot on top of stove Add 2 cups of chicken broth and 1 cup of water. Cook for approx 30 minutes on medium heat. Cook whole grain rice per package; Uncle Ben's makes a whole grain brown, red and wild rice that only takes 90 seconds to cook in the microwave.
