Saute until lightly browned and soft, about 7-8 minutes. Transfer to bowl. Add the remaining olive oil and onions to skillet. Saute for 5 minutes or so until beginning to soften and carmelize; add garlic and stir together. Add broth and kale, stirring until kale begins to wilt. Add beans stirring to combine. Cover and simmer for 5-6 minutes. Remove cover, sprinkle with ground black pepper and italian seasonings to taste and add mozzarella and parmesan.
