In a medium sized pot (with lid) saute olive oil, chopped onions, carrots, and bay leaf for about 5 minutes or until onion are translucent. Add roasted garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, boullion, paprika, and dried split peas. Mix together until all is well combined. Add Vegetable stock.Bring to a boil then simmer for about an hour or until the peas are soft.Add Salt & Pepper to taste. Sprinkle with a little more smoked paprika for extra smokiness.
