Here is how you make yogurt soup (khadi):

Mix besan flour with about 1 cup water. Whisk well til smooth. Then add yogurt (dahi) and blend well. Add 1 more cup of water, tumeric, salt and sugar. Put in pot on medium heat and allow to cook, stirring frequently. After about 5 minutes mixture will come to a medium thick consistency. If too thick, add water. In a non-stick small pot, put oil on medium heat. When hot add mustard seeds and allow to pop. Then add cumin, hing, ginger and curry leaves. Saute for a minute and then add to yogurt mixture.
