Here is how you make Perfect veggie burger:

Cook barley as instructed and allow to cool Heat 2 tbl olive oil and add onion, celery and punch of salt. Cook til golden (about 15 minutes) Add garlic, BBQ and carrots for 2 minutes till mixture dries a little. Place mixture in a food processor and allow to cool slightly then add barley, beans,walnuts, bread crumbs parsley, soy sauce egg whites and 1/2 teas salt. Pulse til smooth with some chunks. Form into 6 patties (about 4 inches) and refrigerate for 4 hours. Spray olive oil to skillet and brown about 6 minutes per side. Serving Size: Makes 6 4" patties.
