What Are The Ingredients For Pasta Fagoli Recipe?The ingredients for Pasta Fagoli are: 2 pounds Ground beef, lean, browned and drained well1 box of beef broth, 4 cup 1 28 oz Spaghetti Sauce (tomato sauce), 3 cups 1can red kidney, rinsed 1 cup 1 can great northern beans (white) rinsed , 1 cup Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes, 2 cups Tomato juice, 4 cups Tabasco Sauce, 1 tsp Cracked black pepper, 1 tsp Basil, 1 tbsp Oregano, ground, 1 tbsp 3 large Carrots,1.5 cup, diced 3 stalks Celery, 1 cup, diced Onions, raw, 2 cup, chopped 3 ounces Orzo pasta , cooked and drained How Do I Make Pasta Fagoli?Here is how you make Pasta Fagoli: Use non stick stock pot and brown beef. After beef is browned, drain well in colandar. Discard fat. Place beef back in pot and add diced carrots, celery and onions and put back on burner on medium heat.Rinse both red and white beans and drain.Add beans to pot. Add beef brothAdd spaghetti sauce Add tabasco ( this should not be omitted) Add cracked black pepper, basil and oreganoStir.Add half of the tomato juice.Bring to boil and reduce heat to a simmer.Allow to cook for several hours with a minimum of 3 1/2 hrs.
