1 lb. flank steak (or substitute) cut into thin strips
2 t. oil
4 c broccoli florets
1 med onion, chopped
1 T. minced fresh ginger
1-1/2 t. cornstarch
2 c brown rice


How Do I Make Teriyaki Beef Stir-fry?

Here is how you make Teriyaki Beef Stir-fry:

In small bowl, combine water, soy sauce, juice, garlic & ginger strips.Pour 1/2 c into a plastic bag & add beef. Seal bag & turn to coat beef. Refrigerate at least 1 hour. Cover & refrigerate remaining marindade.Remove steak from bag & discard marinade.In large non-stick skillet, stir-fry beef in oil for 2-3 minutes or until no longer pink. Remove from pan but keep warm.Add broccoli, onion & minced ginger to pan. Stir=fry for 4 minutes or until vegetables are tender.Return beef to pan. Whisk cornstarch with remaining marinade until smooth & stire into beef mixture.Bring to boil.
