Lazy Shirataki Cabbage Stir Fry

This (with variations) is what I make when I'm feeling too lazy to cook anything more legitimate, and too virtuous to go down the street and get greasy fried noodles from the night market. If you want this to taste more like authentic Chinese street food, you should make sure to crank the heat up high and let the cabbage get a little brown and singed in spots. Measurements are all approximate, because I'm not kidding around about the "lazy" part.

Various condiments (see tips)

How Do I Make Lazy Shirataki Cabbage Stir Fry?

Here is how you make Lazy Shirataki Cabbage Stir Fry:

Pour one teaspoon of oil into a nonstick pan, and crank up the heat to high. Toss in half of your scallions and give them a stir (you could add ginger, too, if this wasn't a LAZY stir fry). Next throw in the noodles and cabbage, and cook on high for a few minutes, stirring/tossing occasionally until the cabbage is fairly translucent and starting to pick up some color. Add in the oyster sauce, give it a good stir so that it's blended. Cook a bit longer. Now here's the fancy bit! Push your cabbage and noodles to the side so that there's a "well"in the center of your pan. Crack your egg into the well. Stir it up a bit, let it set/cook for a second, then stir it again until it's done. You basically want well done scrambled eggs. You do this so you have legit looking fried noodles with tasty bits of egg instead of gross gummy noodles with gluey egg stuck all over them.Almost done! Stir everything together, and throw in the remaining half of your scallions. While you were messing around with your egg your cabbage should have gotten nice and brown in spots. Isn't this exciting?? Taste (blow on it first): if it's bland you can throw in some more oyster sauce, or soy sauce. Maybe a few drops of sesame oil. Go nuts! Stir it around one last time. Now it's ready to eat!Serving Size:?Makes one big bowl of noodles
