1/2 c. water
1 orange (peeled)
1 banana (peeled)
1/2 cup milk (skim)
1 T. Flax Seed
1 c. Strawberries (frozen)

How Do I Make Strawberry-Orange-Banana Smoothie?

Here is how you make Strawberry-Orange-Banana Smoothie:

Put spinach, water, and milk into blender. Turn on smoothie setting (if it has one). After the spinach is blended well, start dropping in sections of the orange. (I usually break mine into 4 sections.) Once that is well blended, add the banana. Next, add the flax seed, followed by the frozen strawberries. (I like to add them in frozen so that you get a true 'smoothie' texture, but you can put them in fresh too!) Finally, add the ice cubes, one at a time, and allow them to blend just until broken up.This recipe is so versatile, you can change the fruits you put in, you can add carrot for some extra veggies, you can use less water to make it thicker, you can add more flax seed, you can replace the milk with yogurt...the possibilities are endless! I consider this smoothie to be my "base" smoothie that I base everything off of, and just build off of it from there. Feel free to change it around any way you like! It really is a delicious drink!
