Put the molasses and butter in a microwave proof bowl and heat to the boil (be careful - mixture will be VERY hot; do not allow it to burn). Allow it to cool slightly. Sift the flour with the salt, soda, ginger, cinnamon and ground cloves into a small or medium bowl.In a medium bowl, place the cottage cheese (you may want to whip it for added smoothness). Add the butter and molasses to the cottage cheese, and then stir in the spices and flour.
