preheat oven to 350. and mix flour, baking powder, soda, and oats (or flake your own groats, if you have them) and set aside. Beat butter and sugars with mixer on med speed until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Gradually add flour mixture and mix until well incorporated, with each addition. Add cereal, coconut and raisins and stir until well blended. Use a small scoop or by heaping spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 13-15 minutes.
