1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
2 TB tallow
4 slices peeled ginger
1 onion, cut into wedges
2 apples peeled and cored and cut into chunks
1 bay leaf
1 c bone broth

Here is how you make Braised Pork Chop with Apple:

1. Preheat oven to 350. Pat pork dry and season. Heat 2 TB tallow in dutch oven. On med/high heat add ginger slices and saute 3-4 minutes until it starts to brown. Remove the ginger. Brown pork chops in batches 2-3 minutes each side. Once brown remove. Add onion to the pot add 1 TB if needed. Cook stirring frequently until onion are slightly brown and starting to soften. About 8=10 minutes. Add apples and bay leaf, broth and stir. Nestle the porch chops in among the vegetables, adding juice the pork chops produced while they were set aside.
