Medium pot for the black eye peas:
Bag of frozen black eye peas (six servings)
3 servings of uncured bacon
1/2 onion

Skillet or Wok for the brussels sprouts:
16 Brussels sprouts, fresh off the stalk
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 onion
garlic
1/2 3 servings of bacon
salt & pepper

Remember the bacon adds salt naturally, so adding tsp of pepper should do it.

Here is how you make Brussels Sprouts, black eye peas and bacon:

Cut up bacon pieces into bite size pieces. Cut off excess fat, but leave some for the flavor. You can avoid it while eating if you choose to reduce fat. What goes in the Pot: Chop up an onion, put half in a pot. Add whole bag of black eye peas. Cover peas with water. Add 3 servings of Bacon. Bring to boil then cover. Simmer on low (2 on electric) for 40 minutes. What goes in the Wok: While pea are cooking, cut Brussels sprouts in halves. Wait 15 minutes before adding the other 1/2 of the onion to the wok, add minced garlic clove, Brussels sprouts and 3 servings of bacon. Stir every 5 minutes to look for carmal-ization. Takes about 20 minutes. Serving Size: 6 servings
