How Do I Make Tater and Ham Bake?

Here is how you make Tater and Ham Bake:

1. Wash potato well and slice thinly, enough slices that you can make an adequate serving for two people. You may peel the potato or leave the peeling on, as you prefer. 2. Preheat oven to 425.3. Melt butter and cheese wedge in a saucepan over low-medium heat. Stir in minced onions and cook for about 5 minutes, until onions soften. Gradually add flour, salt, pepper, paprika, parsley, worcestershire, chicken broth, and yogurt. Cook until the sauce comes to a boil and thickens a bit. If it becomes too thick, you can add a bit of water or a tad more broth.4. Spray a small casserole dish or cake pan with cooking spray. Layer the bottom with potato slices and top with diced ham. Cover the diced ham with the sauce. If you have potato slices left, use them as a top layer and spray the top with cooking spray or add the remainder of the sauce. You may want to cover the casserole before baking if potatoes are your top layer; this will prevent the top potatoes from burning.5. Bake 40 to 45 minutes, until potatoes are soft and sauce is bubbly.Serving Size: Makes two servingsNumber of Servings: 2Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user AUTIEJ.
