1 small onion, chopped
1 bay leaf
2-3 T Gephardt's Chili Powder
1 t unsweetened cocoa
1/2 t cinammon
1/3 t cayenne pepper
Dash or salt and pepper
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 can light beer
12 oz water
1 t Tabasco sauce




How Do I Make Terri's Chili Con Carne?

Here is how you make Terri's Chili Con Carne:

Stir fry turkey in hot canola oil to brown on all sides. Remove from heat but while still hot, stir in the onion so it will wilt without browning. Put pan back on stove on low heat and stir in cinammon, cayenne, cocoa, chili powder, salt and pepper. Stir to blend all spices with meat. Add the tomato sauce, beer, water and Tabasco sauce.
