2tsps olive oil
1 medium onion chopped
2 15 oz cans red beans (or pinto)
2 15 oz cans black beans
1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
2 8oz cans of tomato sauce
1 package of Carroll Shelby's Chili Kit

Here is how you make Carroll Shelby's Chili (My way!):

Saute onion in olive oil in a 5qt -6qt pot and add beef. Cook beef through add tomatoes and tomato sauce plus 2 cans of water. Add chili seasoning and mix through.Drain, rinse and add to mixture. Stir to incorporate. Add salt to taste. Bring to a boil and turn heat to a simmer for 10 mins. Thicken with corn meal if needed, simmer for additional 10 mins.
