Ricos Nacho Cheddar Cheese Sauce 2 Tbsp. Sour Cream How Do I Make Slow Simmer Chili?Here is how you make Slow Simmer Chili: Brown beef in skillet. Chop onion and peppers. Drain beef. Transfer to a large stockpot (mine holds about 4 gallons). Empty all cans into stock pot, juice and all. Add remaining ingredients, except for the sour cream and cheese sauce. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Turn down flame to simmer on a VERY low fire for 8 -10 hours, stirring at least once every 20 to 30 minutes or so. For best flavor, let sit in refrigerator overnight and reheat the next day. Top each serving with not more than 2 Tbsp each of sour cream and the cheese sauce.
