What Are The Ingredients For Granny's Healthy Chili Recipe?The ingredients for Granny's Healthy Chili are: 1 lb Ground turkey1 lb pinto beans 1 3/4 cups diced tomatoes or one can(no salt added) 1 env (approx 3 tsp)Lawry's or McCormick taco/chili seasoning mix 4 cups water 1/2 to 1 medium onion chopped 1 or 2 cloves garlic minced 1 small can tomato paste 1 Tbs olive oil How Do I Make Granny's Healthy Chili?Here is how you make Granny's Healthy Chili: this makes about 12 1/2 cup servings.Saute onions and garlic in 1 tbs olive oil until clear. Add pinto beans and water. Cook until just done.Saute tomatoes and simmer for about 10 minutes. Add tomato paste and stir until blended well, then add to pinto beans. Cook for about 30 minutes and then add the turkey.(I add the turkey raw because it absorbs the flavors as it cooks). Simmer for another 20-30 minutes.
