3/4 tsp pepper
1/4 lb butter
2 cups brandy, divided
1 1/2 cups onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1-2 red peppers, chopped
1/4 tsp chili powder
1 cup cider
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
12 presoaked, pitted prunes
12 stuffed olives, drained
12 small while onions, canned or fresh
2 Tbsp capers
3 1/2 oz. pepperoni, sliced (optional)

Here is how you make Martha's Cornish Hens in Cider:

Season hens with salt and pepper. Brown in large skillet in butter. Pour 1 cup brandy over hens (peach brandy is good) and ignite. Remove hens from skillet and saute onions. Place hens in very large baking pan; cover with onions, garlic, pepper, chili powder, remaining 1 cup brandy, cider and vinegar. Bake covered at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Remove from oven and add remaining ingredients. Continue cooking uncovered 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Excellent served with rice.
