1 1/2 tsp Pepper
1 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin

How Do I Make Mel's Kitchen Empanadas?

Here is how you make Mel's Kitchen Empanadas:

Dough Directions:1. Combine dry ingredients & mix.2 Add wet ingredients & mix w/ electric mixer for approx. 3 min.3. Knead dough for 3 min. 4 Let sit in plastic wrap for 15 min.5. Divide into 12 equal pieces. Set aside to make filling. Filling Directions:1. Saute boiled & shredded chicken in the 2 tbsps of olive oil.2. Add everything else (EXCLUDING the 6oz of vegetable oil) & cook @ med heat for 10min.3. Put the 6oz of vegetable oil in a frying pan at med to med/high heat. Allow to get very hot.4. While vegetable oil is heating roll out dough pieces so that you have 12 flat circles of dough.5. When vegetable oil is hot take the circles of dough & place approx 2 tbps of filling in the center.
