Heat oven to 350. Butter large pan (pyrex 9X14). Separate onion slices into rounds and sprinkle with chopped red pepper over bottom of baking dish. Lay fish on top. Salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and mace lightly over fish. Sprinkle minced green onions. Lay tomato slices, then mushrooms evenly over surface. Pour on lemon water. Spread bread crumbs evenly.
