Here is how you make Black-Eyed Pea Dish:

Cook rice according to package. set aside.Fry bacon until desired crisp. reserve a few tble spoons of grease add to a large pot. Drain bacon and set aside, keep warm.Fry or boil smoked sausage until no longer pink.Saute onion, celery and bell pepper in bacon grease until tender.Add can of tomatoes, black-eyed peas, beef broth and salt and pepper to taste.Simmer covered for about 20-25 minutes.Add cooked rice to thicken.
