Using 1 T. butter, grease 9"x13" baking pan.Place 3/4" slices of whole wheat bread on bottom of baking pan, filling in spaces with pieces of bread.Whisk together eggs, milk, half & half, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour over bread.
