Instant Minute Brown Rice, Dry, 1 cup
Wheat germ, crude, .5 cup
Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal
Zucchini, 1 cup shredded or 2 c. fresh spinach
Cider Vinegar, 2 tbsp


How Do I Make Lentil-Walnut-Rice Burgers?

Here is how you make Lentil-Walnut-Rice Burgers:

Place lentils in 4 c. water, cook for 30 min. Add Minute Brown rice and cook an additional 15 min. Remove from heat and let cool. Mash with 2 T. cider vinegar. Saute remaining ingred. in oil (except wheat germ and oats) for 5-10 min. or until soft. Combine lentil mixture, wheat germ, oatmeal, and sauted vegetables. Chill for 1 hour before making patties. Form burgers - I use a 1/2 cup measuring cup - fry in small amount of oil on both sides until crispy, or broil 5-8 min. on each side.
